We’ve started our spring bear baiting for the 2017 spring bear hunting season. Last week it was sunny and above freezing, ice was off lake and this week we had a major snowstorm that left the main trans canada highway closed for about 8 hours. We have a total of about 8 inches of snow on the ground and doesn’t seem like it will be gone until the weekend when it gets back up above the freezing mark.
