Populus lake fishing has been very good all season. Some very nice sized walleyes have been caught as well as good sized lake trout. None of our groups went down the lake to try for the elusive muskie this season so far. Lots of pike and some great jumbo perch were caught all within view of the cabin. Minnow were working well in the beginning but water temperatures have warmed up and the leeches seem to be working better.
